Kate is a huge part of our writing team. She also has helped do all our choreography. We are so excited that she gets to join us for her THIRD year at Kingdom Bound!

"One of my favorite things about XM is how insanely creative we get to be with it. I have admired that since I joined in sixth grade. One of the greatest experiences for me was growing up and getting to take part in the creativity. I love to write the things we produce. It is probably the best thing I get to do in XM. Writing mixtape was especially fun because I got to take a story, and handpick songs that matched it and it somehow turned into something. I love getting to create things with my best friends."

Madison was a part of XM Productions when she was younger and joined us again recently. She has never been to Kingdom Bound with us before, but we are so excited she gets to join us this year!

"Yo, what up? It's ya gurl, Maddie. I've been apart of XM for two years now. My favorite part of XM is building props with the other cast members. Let's just say we've jammed to Hannah Montana a time or two.  I love being apart of XM, it's a great way to make new friends, grow, break out of your comfort zone, and I get to be sassy! I can't wait to see what God has in store for KB and for XM!"

Abby is a super enthusiastic, fun, hilarious member of our team! She wants everyone to know that she is awesome and the best. ;)

"There are so many things I love about XM! One of them is being a part of the writing process. In XM we are also offered the great privilege of acting. There is something about seeing what you have helped write being used by God to change someone else's life.

It's not all serious, though! Sometimes we take time to just hang out. We've done everything from roller blading, going out to eat, and even the trip to Kingdom Bound. I love this crazy group of people!

I think everyone in XM can agree that we are like a second family for each other. Seriously. We definitely couldn't do anything like we do without each other.

Something I noticed when I first joined XM is that we are an inclusive group. It doesn't matter if you are in sixth grade or a high school grad, we are happy to have you there. This group is welcoming to everyone who steps in the door.

XM, like any group, has its ups and downs. Something anyone can realize though is that even if you spell "YOPE" instead of "HOPE," or accidentally apologize on stage; we stick together."

Hope is one of our younger members on our XM trip. She brings so much joy to every place she goes. She likes to go by many different names and tell lots of stories!

"Hi! My name is Fire. I like rats and Jesus. XM Productions has helped me make lots of friends and has taught me discipline. I really like XM because I get to go around and help teach people about Jesus."

Emily is one of our main writers and choreographers. She is always willing to help us wherever needed and is going to be at Kingdom Bound for the second time this year.

"Helloooo. :) I'm Emily. I became a part of XM Productions in 6th grade, mainly because I loved the costumes and watching my brother Joseph, perform in the dramas.

Basically, it has been a long journey so far with XM, and I wouldn't change any of it. (No, not even stepping in random paint splotches... Or even being stepped on by several people as if you WERE a random paint splotch...) It has been especially crazy recently. Last year was my first year going to Kingdom Bound, and we will be on our way again in just a matter of days. And this time I'm going to be a main. (Which is CRAZY, and I'm so excited.) :)

I am so blessed to have such an incredible family in XM, and to have so much positivity and joy surround me each and every day."

Practices, Crunch time, and packing

We are almost ready for Kingdom Bound! Today we will attend Sunday morning service and then leave Owasso for Terre Haute, Indiana (where we spend the night). It has been a crazy few days full of writing blogs, practicing dramas, building props, testing tents and air mattresses, and just putting the final touches on everything needed for this crazy fun and challenging trip we are about to embark on.

If you could continue to pray for us as we travel north, we would appreciate it! We can't wait to see what God has in store for us this week. For those of you in New York, we can't wait to see you! :) Also, follow us on social media to keep up with our adventures!

Guest Writers: The Guys

Our reality in XM is that we don't have very many guys. This can make it difficult to write dramas with certain roles. The few guys we have always step up and help wherever they're needed! Ethan and Carter are our two guys joining us for Kingdom Bound this year. We are so excited to have Ethan join us for his second year at Kingdom Bound and for Carter to experience this trip for the first time!

"Hi! I'm Ethan. I'm 17 years old, and I've been a part of XM Productions for about 5 years. It has been quite the journey. Through all of our travels I've learned so many things and grown spiritually and mentally."

"Hi I'm Carter. I've been in XM Productions for two years. I've made a lot of new friends. My favorite drama we do is "Mixtape" because we get to dance."

Kelly is the most rad Pokemon trainer I know. She is an important part of our writing team. We are so excited for another year at Kingdom Bound with her.

"Hello! I'm Kelly. I've been a part of XM Productions for 4 years now. XM productions is a great way to meet new people and do things you've never done. It gives you an opportunity to go out of your comfort zone by performing, but also tell people about Jesus. One of my best memories with XM so far is watching the guys in our group learn the dances for some dramas. Also, the road trip on our way to Kingdom Bound is a blast. Being a part of this team is one of the best decisions I've made, I can't wait to continue with XM and see what we do next."

If you've had seen us in the last couple of years, chances are you've seen Katy. She has helped with choreography and lots of other things this season and I'm so glad she's a part of our team!

"Hi! I'm Katy! I've been in drama for about four years and it's been some of the best years of my life. Performing and bringing people to Jesus has helped me mature and grow more than I could have thought in the past three years. I've have performed a lot of parts from a "mean friend" to a "side ballerina". I like how they stretch us out of our comfort zones. I've met some of my best friends in XM. We've grown super close learning and teaching dramas together. I love XM and I love being a part of bringing people to Jesus through acting. I'm very excited to see where it takes me next. :)"

Tara has been a member of XM Productions since she joined the youth group in 6th grade. She is going into 8th grade and we are so happy she gets to join us at Kingdom Bound this year!

"XM Productions has been a huge opportunity for me. There are two memories from XM that have truly stood out to me and taught me some very important things.

The first memory was in 2014 when I was in 6th grade. It was my first big drama and I was the youngest person performing. After the performance I knew that this was going to be one of the ways I was going to minister to other people.

The other memory was from last year. I got sick the day they cast a drama (Shatter Me) and so I wasn't placed in a role. The next week, I came to drama practice like normal and I learned I was going to be spending service under the ballerina box on stage. So after what seemed like forever the drama started and I made the box "explode." I learned that there are more to dramas than just the acting, because I sat under a box and made it "explode" and it brought more of a wow factor to the drama. XM Productions has definitely changed my life."

Amy's Top Ten for KB

Amy's Top Ten for KB

Amy has been an integral part of XM until she had to leave us for an adult job. Leading up to our Kingdom Bound trip this year, I asked her to give me her top ten XM Kingdom Bound tips. Plus, today is her birthday so it's a perfect day to release these! Happy 22nd, Amy! So, without further ado, here they are (in no particular order):

1. There will be downtime. Be prepared to entertain yourselves! (This is where the good memories are made.)

2. Be flexible. Sometimes plans have to change, and that's okay!

3. When Pastor Kevin says to go to the park, GO! Ride AT LEAST 7 roller coasters! (BOOMERANG IS THE BEST)

4. DRINK WATER!

5. If you need to cry, don't hold it in. (But maybe find someplace private...) And be there for your friends!

6. The food there is good, eat it! (Lookin' at you, Katy!)

7. Respect each other. (Especially the adults!)

8. MAKE NEW FRIENDS! (Just don't try to date any of them.)

9. The last day can be the worst (tear down). Just power through, you'll sleep on the bus home! Everything is funnier when everyone is super tired. :)

10. Last but not least, HAVE FUNNNNN!
